This short piece was specially composed for Icelandic violinist Eva Ingolf who premiered it during a concert in New York City, in February 2014. One year later, in February 2015, Romanian violinist Daniel Mihai played the same pieces in Constanţa, Romania, as Eva Ingolf had done in NYC one year earlier. Troll party is inspired by an imaginary playlet, with a bunch of dwarf trolls frolicking over the moors in the moonlight. For a while, they join another group of their peers who are dancing frantically. The playlet ends at dawn, with the dwarves jumping into the cave where they reside. Un an plus tard, en février 2015, le violoniste roumain Daniel Mihai joua les mêmes pièces à Constanţa (Roumanie) qu'Eva Ingolf avait jouées à New York un an auparavant. Troll party s'inspire d'une saynète imaginaire dans laquelle, au clair de lune, un groupe de trolls nains fôlatrent dans la lande, puis rejoignent un groupe de leurs pairs qui dansent avec frénésie. La saynète se termine à l'aube, quand les nains sautent dans les grottes où ils habitent.
